What is the product that many asian nail salons use to create a straight line when doing french manicures?

I know they paint the white sloppily on then use something to create a straight line…what do they use??
I am not talking about the stick on guides but a brush that makes a line.

paper. just put it againt your finger nail
maybe they stick surgical tapes over the nails, leaving only ends to be painted white. when done/dried, the tapes are then removed. that’s why you still get straight lines even when it’s a sloppy work.
they use what is nail art polish it comes in different colors with a very thin fine brush rather than a regular; thicker brush that you will find in your typical nail polish bottle. You can buy it at your neighborhood beauty supply store. In the past I have purchased white; black and silver(all seperate colors)
